Tatum Riley is a trained artist and art historian.

She studied Environmental Sciences with a focus in sustainable living before moving her focus to the arts. She was formally trained in the fine arts at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and graduated with degrees of Arts and Science from New England College: Focus being Fine Arts and Art History.

Raised in the Midwest, she grew up inspired by the land and its formations, and the direction and wavelength of light. With scientific expertise of the visual light spectrum and foundations in color theory, she uses what is perceived in new combinations so others see them in a new light.

Continually exploring mediums in paint and mixed media design; Using oil, gouache, acrylic, patinas, enamels, conte, charcoals, pastels, digital work, design, and a multitude of other techniques to make her artwork sing with color and evoke emotions.
